Healthcare Assist was founded by its Managing Director Daniel Budija in 2004.

After extensive research, he found that many people wanted health care, but could not afford it.  Daniel then pieced together the basics of what we now know as Healthcare Assist.  Dedicated to providing affordable health benefits to all Australians, not just the select few, Healthcare Assist is now providing affordable Health Cover to thousands of Australians.

Healthcare Assist is a member rewards programme providing 10-20% discounts to members through its Preferred Partner Network.  Healthcare Assist also provides Hospital Insurance, and Patient Financing to its members and Preferred Partners.
